Additional Comments written on Parent Surveys:

Edventure More is a friendly, welcoming, safe place for kids to play, learn and create. The staff is warm, energetic, well qualified, attentive and happy. The Nordstrom of camps!

As an Art History Professor, I was thrilled that my 6 year old learned about modern art and abstract sculpture in such an exciting and age appropriate way! –1st grade parent

At the end of the first day both of my kids were planning to come back next summer.—2nd and 4th grade parent

Although my daughter is shy, she bonded with the staff and loved the activities so much, she begged me to let her stay another week, but camp was already sold out! Definitely try at least two weeks! –K parent

I was astonished at the level of care, professionalism, and consideration of the staff! They were attentive to my child’s needs, communicated with me regularly, and seemed to make every camper feel equally special. –1st grade parent

I loved seeing the GIANT smile on my daughter’s face every day I picked her up. Her smile combined with daily “Give Me More!” sheets explaining specific things she did each day made camp worth every penny and more! –2nd grade parent

You can tell the kids aren’t just “warehoused” like some of the bigger camps. The level of personal attention to each camper is incredible. I dropped off every morning comforted that the staff knew my child. Very comforting as a parent.

My first grader sampled 5 different, high quality camps this summer and she said Camp Edventure More was her favorite of all of them. As a parent I especially appreciated the detailed communication and the camp counselors who were mature, enthusiastic and friendly.

The most professional, fun, and caring camp we’ve been to all summer! Both us and our kids feel like we made the most of our summer by coming to Camp Edmo. Camps don’t get any better than this! –1st and 3rd grade parent

Although my daughter is shy, she bonded with the staff and loved the activities so much, she begged me to let her stay another week, but camp was already sold out! Definitely try at least two weeks!

My kids have so much fun every day. Last year my daughter cried when it’s the last day of camp. I promised her I would come back and I did sign them up again.

For the past three weeks, my son had learned so much and had tons of fun. Every day after the camp he could hardly catch his breath talking about all the wonderful experiences (“the coolest projects ever”). All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Thank you all for a great job.”

All the staff were friendly and enthusiastic: what are you on and where can I get some? Safe, secure, and endlessly entertaining. Camp Edmo puts the fun into summer for kinds and takes the worry out for parents! Thank you. We will be back again next year.

My son has gone to three camps this summer and this one is far and away the best. He comes home so excited and filled with stories every day, it’s wonderful. I wish I could go to this camp! He is learning so much and yet thinks everything is fun. You should start a school :)

After the first day of camp, my son Matthew (6) said “let’s hurry up and get home and go to sleep, so I can wake up and go to camp again!” A six-year old wishing to go to bed is nothing short of miraculous! Thank you for a great experience!

It’s wonderful to pick up a child who can’t wait to share his day with you. My five year old explained surface tension to me after working on your bubble experiments. Your science curriculum makes learning exciting. Thanks.

We LOVED our 3 weeks at EdMo- very sorry to see it ending. Staff was pleasant, professional, loving- couldn’t ask for more. My kids loved their projects and talked about them at home with pride. We’ll be back!

The dino week was great. We particularly loved the rope used to measure the height of a T-rex. And making games was a great idea- he loved all the art projects and remembered a lot of the science experiments. We have had a WONDERFUL 3 week experience. So creative, fun, caring, low-key and educational in a no-pressure way. Thanks!

Ian and Aedan just couldn’t stop talking about all the cool things they have been doing. At dinnertime it has been a battle to keep them from interrupting each other. The Mancala board and the marble maze from the Game Week they made are their new favorite toys.

Having a child with nut allergies, it’s always stressful the first day dropping off the epi-pen and putting the staff on “notice.” This was the BEST prepared camp ever. When I dropped off Emi the first day, the staff knew she was coming, made her feel very “special” (instead of odd) and assigned Maya to watch over her at snack and lunch. Thanks so much! (from emi: “Next year can we go for two weeks or more?”

The staff at Edmo is extraordinary — mature, well-informed, nurturing and responsive. The professionalism sets Edmo apart from many other camps we’ve experienced. Our son has had a superb camp experience. He has made us promise to enroll him again next year!

This is the best camp — bar none — that we’ve ever attended. And we’ve been attending camps in Marin for 15 years!

My son loved coming to camp. He was very excited every morning and filled with stories every afternoon!

Molly gave me excellent feedback every day at pick-up. Hannah had a wonderful 3 weeks. Thank you! She now LOVES science. She loved Georgia & all the counselors. Robert LOVED Talia. “I also love Mrs. Peanuts.”

Our kids came home, singing songs, telling stories (actually giving us lots of info!). They loved camp, the counselors, friends and the Kid Chow!

Both of my kids loved Stefan and Brittney. If someone wants to talk to a parent, I’m happy to do so. This is our 2nd year at Edmo and we’ll be back next year. Every morning the kids jumped out of the car and raced to their counselors without much of a good-bye. And on the way home, they couldn’t stop talking about the day. What a contrast from school, when I have to pull teeth to learn about what’s going on. As the kids say, it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Our son enjoyed just about everything, even the food. He came home each day chattering about his day and was anxious each morning to return. He felt very “cool” and very much part of a team. I was very impressed with the staff. I’m accustomed to disengaged teenagers working at camps like this, but not at Edmo. The staff energy was contagious and my son was immediately engaged. We’ll be back! And I’ve already spread the word to other families! Thanks very much for a great week.

They all seem wonderful. Jake does not take easily to new settings. The 1st day of camp, I was extremely impressed by the staff and their enthusiasm. It was very helpful in terms of Jake’s adjustment. I am so pleased with Edmo and Jake’s attitude. He has so many stories and songs. he’s really enjoying the teachers, the kids, and the entire experience! Thanks Edmo staff!

Everyone made Emma feel befriended and cared for right away. Lots of personal touches like learning everyone’s names, sweet comments on arrival, etc.

Since starting from the beginning of this summer, Timothy has had nothing but good things to say. He’s been singing camp songs, quite loudly, in the car. He has to share all the new and latest versions.

They were all enthusiastic and dedicated! Both of my kids attended Edmo last year and my daughter came back and my son now wants to do Ed Tech. My daughter did a week of Arts & Sciences and a week of Animation this year. She enjoyed both sessions very much but especially liked Animation. Everyday she comes home and tells me about how they shape their clay figures to make them appear that they are moving in great detail. Kid Chow’s menu also seemed easier to navigate this year-fewer choices can be a good thing!

This was the first camp experience for my daughter. I expected tears but got all smiles. Thanks for making it a positive experience. Came home very excited to share esp. science, games played and sang camp songs.

Everyday after camp couldn’t even get her word out fast enough to tell me how much fun she had at camp. Can’t wait till my son is old enough to go!

Holden proudly told us on his first day that Indio, the Science Instructor, called him his “buddy”. Great week and a marked boost of confidence!

The staff was friendly and enthusiastic!! Loved how the staff greets the campers and makes them feel welcome! My daughter has said repeatedly that this is her favorite camp. She feels very involved and much prefers Edmo to Steve & Kates camp. ME TOO!

The staff is so INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Warm and welcoming- they make you feel so comfortable and I loved how they give such personal comments during pick-up

Staff were so friendly during drop-off and pickup. I really appreciated and was impressed with the staff enthusiasm and that they knew my daughters name at pickup and seemed genuinely interested in what she had to say. WE LOVE EDMO!

The drop off/pick up went very smoothly each day. Sara, the Camp Director, has a fun and laid back way with parents and kids. The kids had lots to say about Indio and his tricks. This is our third summer with Edventure More in San Anselmo and once again, as soon as they get into the car clutching their art they exuberantly tell me their stories of the day. I’m very tickled they had such a fun and magical camp. Thank you for all the efforts and energy your staff puts into the kids’ day. You are so appreciated!

Lea and Noah said camp is 100% FUN!

The whole San Anselmo team was great! Kudos to everyone for delivering such a wonderful experience to both children and parents! Everyone I recommended camp to told me how happy they were too. I was really impressed with Sara, the Camp Director for a) proactively calling me when Tom was out sick and b) for arranging the one week credit when Tom was out. Really impressive and thanks so much for making my life easier. Its great how seriously you take your surveys. Rob from Kid Chow got back to me and got Tom what ever he wanted. Kid Chow’s a great partner for EdMo See you next year!

Even after 3 weeks my son still loves loves loves camp!! Thanks for everything you do to make each day special!

He loved all the science projects and games and skits. A good time being had at camp! The pickle battery and Mentos explosions made a huge impact. He told most people we talked to that week about both projects.

Your staff is fabulous! And this makes all the difference. I can always tell which camps are hiring the right people-people who love to be with kids and have fun with them. You’ve done a fantastic job hiring! Thank You!

The smiling faces provided a great start to the camp day! We appreciated the pick up and drop off system and the smiling, youthful counselors. Our son Joey was a bit apprehensive about going to camp on day one. By day two, he had a big smile on his face, said he wanted to go and seemed to fit right in. we signed him up for another week and plan to be back next summer!

All staff members ROCK! My son, Nicholas, has been excited to go to camp everyday & I always loved being able to discuss what he had done in camp by using the daily Give More Sheet as a reference. Good Job!

I LOVED the fact you provided a hot lunch with healthy foods Even my picky eater ate it up! I know my child enjoyed Edmo b/c when I asked him if he like camp, he always said “Yes!” This is not usually the case with him, with other camps we’ve done.
