Arts & Tech (ent. 3rd-5th only)

Both of my kids attended Edmo last year, and coming back, my older daughter especially loved the addition of your Animation sessions. Everyday she comes home and goes into great detail about how they build sets and shape their clay figures to make them appear like they are moving. -Moraga parent
I was so impressed at how confident my son was at Animation after only a week of doing it! He was so proud the next week when the Instructor asked him to help some of the other groups with their movies. Thanks for building him up! -Oakland parent
Important Grouping & Curriculum Notes
- Ratios: We maintain a Camper:Staff ratio of 8:1 throughout most of the day.
- Age Groups: We typically divide campers into 3 groups: K, 1st-2nd, & 3-5th.
- Group size: Generally vary between 10-20 kids per group.
- Friends: We will do our very best to honor your special requests to be grouped with a friend. There are certain circumstances which will prevent us from honoring all buddy requests. Those include: age discrepancy, behavior issues and staff to camper ratios
- Age Appropriate Activities: Although the weekly theme is the same for all age groups, the actual activities, concepts and degree of difficulty for completion vary according to the age group.
- Modified Activities: On rare occasion we may need to modify weekly activities due to weather, material availability and/or time constraints.

Here teams work together on “campy” things like cheers, banners, lanyards, games, skits and other “choice time” activities. It’s a time to really get to know the other kids in your group, your counselor, and build a team identity. Then it’s time to show the whole camp how you rock the Edmo Vibe at AM and PM rally contests every day! But that’s not all! At least once a week, we also lead kids in SMILE projects that encourage anonymous acts of kindness and recognizing others in their group for doing nice things. Curious about SMILE projects?
